About the Competition
Every month a photographic competition will be held by South Florida Camera Club. Each member that has paid their yearly club dues can submit one photo for each monthly competition.
Every competition will be judged as ‘Member’s Choice’, which means the winning photo will be selected by the highest number of votes received from members. You must be an active member to cast a vote.
At the end of the year there will be a special competition between all of the year’s winning photos for the Grand Prize.
Monthly Competition Prize
The selected winning photograph for each monthly competition will be framed by Frame Gallery at (2707 E. Commercial Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33308. Ph# 954-771-2922).
The winning photo will also be displayed in UNCOMMON Gallery for a month at (2713 E. Commercial Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33308. Ph# 954-336-4305) until the next month’s competition.
Year End Grand Prize
The photographer whose photo wins the year end Grand Prize competition will have a choice of selecting either a: Nikon D300s! Or a Canon 7D!
Competition Rules
- You must be a current SFCC Member with dues paid in full.
- Photos must be center mounted on a 16″x20″ black or white matte board.
- Photos must be no smaller than 8″x10″, and no larger than 1 inch from the edge of the board.
- Photographs must be original works of your own.
- The image you submit can be photo manipulated to whatever extent you like.
